When should I start my wedding dress search?
We recommend that you begin searching for your dress approximately 12 months prior to your wedding date, and that you place an order no later than 8 months before. This ensures that your dress can be produced, delivered and fitted in good time.
Don’t panic if you have less than 8 months before your wedding date, we can still have a dress made in time but it may incur a rush fee. Please get in touch to discuss if you have any concerns, we are here to help.
I have a budget in mind for my wedding dress, what are TWG prices?
Our dresses range in price to accommodate most brides’ purses. Prices start at £1,500 and at the very top end they reach £6,500 for Liz Martinez and Idan Cohen. A good average for the majority of dresses at our boutique fall between £1,500 - £3,500.
What is the 'Secret Sale'?
The Secret Sale is a room in our boutique, dedicated to sample wedding dresses that are available to buy on the day, mostly half price! All the dresses are in excellent condition and are a steal for the lucky bride who falls in love.

What should I expect?
A private consultation, some expert advice and an abundance of fun! At The White Gallery we truly want you to have the most wonderful experience. We want you to enjoy trying on a number of different styles and our stylists will help you choose gowns that reflect your individuality and style. You will have the opportunity to try on up to 6 wedding dresses …most of the gowns are sizes 10-14 and can be pinned to give you a better fit. It’s important to try and not dismiss a dress just because it doesn’t fit perfectly...remember to focus on the style, fabric and detail that you like!
Do I have to pay for an appointment?
There is no fee for trying on our beautiful dresses, in return we just ask you arrive on time...don't wear fake tan and prepare for a fun appointment!
What should I bring to my appointment?
We highly recommend that you wear seamless, nude lingerie, preferably a strapless bra, and if you do intend to lose weight prior to your wedding then control lingerie will make you feel more comfortable when trying on the wedding dresses. We have heels that you can wear whilst trying on dresses, but if you have a favourite pair of shoes in a similar heel height to what you plan to wear on your wedding day, please feel free to bring those along with you.
How many people should I bring to my appointment?
We can comfortably accommodate four guests, we suggest that you only bring your nearest and dearest with you. Too many opinions aren’t helpful and distracting, this is your special moment.
Are you allowed to take photos in the boutique?
We don’t allow photography in the boutique because a photo of you in a sample dresses won’t be a true reflection of how you’ll look on your wedding day. We politely ask that you make your guests aware of this. We firmly believe that you will remember ‘the one’ because of the way it made you feel when you first put it on.

You've mentioned my dress will need alterations for the perfect fit - can you recommend a seamstress?
