How did you hear about The White Gallery when you were engaged?
I knew I wanted something something a bit different and when I asked around friends and relatives raved about the white gallery. The minute I walked in and saw the dresses, I felt relieved because there were so many I liked. It was so different to some of the more traditional shops I had been to.
What did you enjoy most about your experience at The White Gallery?
The craic. There was always a warm welcome, a big hug and a cup of coffee. Rachel allows extra time for her bridal appointments so it never felt rushed and it seemed as if you were the only bride she had.... even though of course she was always really busy. It never felt like that. It's a small thing but it felt very different to most other places I had been to. She was always really honest too which was great - an objective, impartial opinion!
What was your favourite part of your big day?
Dodging the question here - but probably all of it! I have never laughed or danced so much in one day. Lough Eske was amazing and the staff could not do enough for us, definitely worth checking out if you haven't got a venue yet!
Have you any tips for brides-to-be?
You always need at least one person around you who can be totally honest with you, laugh about the things that go wrong and keep you calm on the big day.
Choose your suppliers wisely, you spend a lot of time with your hairdresser, makeup artist and photographer on the day. We loved having them all around, it felt like hanging out with our mates and we had a real laugh with them which added to the day.
Don't sweat the little things especially if they go wrong. People don't really member those things anyway. They will remember if you are a stressed bride though! :)
